Indoor Air Test Kits Demonstrated on ABC News

Tampa, FL September 16, 2016 – The case for indoor air test kits. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reports that indoor air environments can be up to 100 times more polluted than the outdoor air. Recently there has been more detailed scientific data that suggests air within both residential dwellings and commercial interiors can be even more polluted that the surrounding outdoor air. Even in the most industry rich cities and regions. It is estimated that people spend nearly 90% of there time indoors. So, health risks could be greater due to poor indoor air quality.

But now it is easy and inexpensive to detect indoor air pollutants.

ABC News Morning Blend TV Show host Natalie Taylor spoke with Troy Raszka Marketing & Communications director at Building Health Check, LLC and Rony Iraq QA/QC Manager for the Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory about why it’s crucial to test for and identify the most common issues that affect indoor air quality in homes, schools and workplaces.

“Many people think of their home as a safe place to relax and sleep.” stated Mr. Raszka, “But,they don’t realize what could be living inside their air conditioner or duct system.”

During the segment Mr. Iraq showed how easy it is to collect both surface and air samples demonstrating one of BHC’s evalu-aire Basic Indoor Air Test Kits.

Mrs. Taylor said she had never thought about the indoor air quality of her home and she hoped Tampa Bay’s Morning Blend audience would take time to learn more about the IAQ in their homes.
