PURE Plasma Air 7000

The Plasma Air 7000 Series are needlepoint type ionizers producing a balance of positive and negative ions. With a maximum CFM of 6,000 with the 7401 model (models include 7200 – 2,800 cfm, 7300 – 4,200 cfm, and 7400 – 6,000 cfm). The operating voltage of this unit is 24V AC. The unit can be installed in metal duct utilizing the pre-drilled flange and factory applied gaskets. Then, your contractor cuts out the template in the duct, making a hole for the 7000 to be mounted in. Next, they secure the unit with self tapping sheet metal screws.

Easy Installation

When completely installed, the ionization output protrudes 1½” inches into the duct to clear any duct liner and insulation. The Plasma Air 7000 unit can also be installed inside an AHU HVAC unit utilizing a contractor supplied mounting bracket. The ionization needles on the 7000 are recessed to avoid electric shock, dust buildup and premature failure. The ionization unit can directly accept power from the 24V AC fan control circuit.

Plasma Air 7000: Cost Effective & High Output

Plasma Air 7000 Ionizers install in the supply air ductwork or air handler. Ionizers go in both new equipment or get retrofitted into older systems. First, the positive and negative ions generated by the device get released whenever air is flowing through the ductwork. Next, the ions form a cluster around harmful particles, such as Coronavirus particulates, mold, and bacteria. Then, they trigger oxidation in these particle’s cells causing a breakdown of gases. Similarly, ionization eliminates volatile organic compounds and neutralizes odors.

Low Price, Highly Effective

Plasma Air 7000 needle point bi-polar ion generator (also referred to as ionization) is effective in the eradication of bacterial, viral, and mold particulate. For instance, in the case of Coronavirus, these viral particles are too small to get trapped by most filtration systems. However, charged clusters of clumped particles are easier for filters to catch and remove from the air. When cluster particle are neutralized and removed from the air, the result is a cleaner, healthier environment with less risk of infectious outbreaks.
